It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to “Uncle Pete with Kids”, a new and fun experience in children’s entertainment. Uncle Pete with Kids (UP with Kids) is the brainchild of Peter Kedzia. Peter is a singer/songwriter, musician, recording engineer, and producer. He is also a positive people-person with years of motivating and mentoring youngsters.
Peter decided to develop a children’s show that would not only entertain, but also leave the children with a positive message…a show that celebrates being a child. He emphasizes that each child is good, each child is special, each child should believe in and follow his or her dreams.
The show is a fun-filled, creative extension of Peter’s philosophy that all children like to have fun and, when afforded the opportunity, can express themselves through creative play. Peter performs several original songs written exclusively for the show - “Yes I Can” and “Anything Is Possible”, to name two. The show also features tried and true classics such as “BINGO” and “The Hokey Pokey”. The songs are performed live with Peter singing and playing guitar to a background
of pre-recorded musical tracks that he produced in his digital studio. He believes that a show should be special and to that end, he even carries props, just for the fun of it. He also includes the children in the show, encouraging them to sing and dance along; to play along with supplied percussion instruments.
