Description : Max Tell loves kids. He loves them sprinkled on cinnamon toast – just kidding. Max is a writer of stories and a singer of songs. He likes when kid’s eyes brighten up when he’s singing a song or telling a story. He likes how they look sad when told a sad story or sung a sad song; how they smile at happy stories and giggle at silly ones; and how they look frightened or brave when faced with a scary monster story.
Max writes and sings about witches, ware wolves, and dragons, kites but not kangaroos, bees and birds and boys who hate words. He even sings silly love songs about microwaves and worms. For older children he tells personal and traditional stories. Adults also like his work for he is a silly-serious kind of a guy.
To entertain is to give a gift. Max Tell believes that the greatest gift he could ever give would be to a reluctant reader, to inspire a child to take one short step into the fascinating world of reading.
