Gigi® and the Lend Me a Hand Band® is an intergenerational Family Band. The group is comprised of multiaward winning singer Gigi® on Acoustic/Electric Guitar, her Mom, Granny Franny on keyboards and Gigi’s husband Larry a.k.a Mr. Bassman and best friends Meteor Mike Cefola on electric guitar, and Guy “Jam Master G” Eluzzi on percussion along with Uncle Paul Rutkowski on the saxophone. In their shows their kids and relatives lend a hand in leading the audiences to join in actions to their songs.
The band’s musical journey together has taken them from the banks of the Hudson River for numerous Riverfests, to the Tower of Power Stages of the Time Warner Goodwill Games, to many theatres including the Helen Hayes, Westchester Broadway Theatre, the Emelin, the Bendheim Performing Arts Center, numerous radio and telelvision appearances, and on and on, but most importantly into the hearts of many children and their families.
Gigi, a former Classical Singer, teaches pre-school and elementary children, and much of her music is an outgrowth of these experiences. She also writes music and shows for various organizations.
