Wendy Flower creates a ‘60s musical vibe for today’s families. Her original folk-rock songs contain positive messages for young people. Themes include peace, brotherhood, freedom, hope, individuality, imagination, community, activism, the environment and animal rights.
The aim of her CD "Flower Power" is to show kids that they CAN make a difference. Part of the proceeds goes to the Free The Children organization.
Wendy and her sister Bonnie are revered for their cult sensation, the 1969 pop/folk/jazz album “Genesis.” She has sung at the Fillmore Auditorium with the U.K. band Super Furry Animals.
For more than 20 years, Wendy has been involved in Early Childhood Education.
